After seeing Normal People, it seems that it is better not to get than to get the people of the mind. The pain of not being able to stay together even after getting it should not be borne at least. Isn’t it?
The BBC’s Normal People series, based on the Irish novel, is an anecdote about the love life of two people … the story of their love and separation from secondary school to undergraduate. I have seen crime, thriller and drama series for so long. I am new to the Romance genre series. It’s not an ensemble cast on him, the success of the series depends entirely on the hero-heroine – Connell and Marian. There is no side character either.
In the student life of many of us, there was no one who was like a friend in front of everyone, but secretly making love? If someone else hit the line on one of them, the other would burn but couldn’t say anything? If we show more intimacy, we would be forced to say, Back Off dude, we are couple! Colin and Marian aren’t exactly the same, I think we should have seen the movie Darna Keya.
Proper communication is important. Neither of them is good at it, but they are good at making decisions based on their emotions. Maybe it’s all age’s fault.
Connell, who is good at sports, is very popular in school, she has a lot of friends. On the other hand everyone stays away from Marian of the same class. Because he left out his classmates, he doesn’t care about the teachers. It is unthinkable that anyone will fall in love with a girl with a lip-sharp nature. But let’s see how it goes, it’s not a spoiler. Normal People reminds me of many things I have seen in my student life, how young couples get emotional and make no mistake, that is why it is not too late to fall in love, so is the breakup. Who likes to be alone? Again two beautiful people. If there is love in the character, there will be love in that society. But does love cut loneliness?
By 2006, Ireland was recovering from an economic downturn. Connell and Marian’s family affluence is very different, but it has been shown very subtly. In many movies, the rich and the poor have grown up talking about it. Not so here. The complexity of their relationship is their own doing. The surroundings have never felt so big.
Only someone who has truly fallen in love might understand Connell-Marian’s problem. Many are not familiar with their psychological spacer. Many will not understand many of their decisions. There are no big fights, no melodramatic scenes. Again, there is not so much subtlety that needs to be understood. They both deal with their confidence as they choose to embark on their play activities. Yet everything goes smoothly-normally for life? This is probably normal. No one here thinks that the heroine is Satisavitri, although there is a heroine in Marian, but I have not seen anything heroic in Connell. So none of them would be ideal for lovers. They are normal people.
The beauty of the two newcomers and the chemistry on the screen pulls the series! Two very nice people to see. My problem here is that none of the others are presented in the least beautiful way. Everyone likes it more indirectly. Maybe it’s intentional too. They had so much complexity among themselves, they didn’t need anyone else.
Murder on a crime show, if violence is openly shown, should not be covered in an intimate scene on a romance show, right? There is no way to avoid the physical side of love. So the series is filled with sexuality-nudity. As the action show has a fight choreographer, there was an intimacy co-ordinator for the intimate scene. There is a report on the show’s behind-the-scenes sex behind the scenes, where he said:
We’re inviting the industry to make a 180-degree shift in how it sees sex.
Also the cinematography, the music is so beautiful, there are no willful screenshots. It’s a very slow but tidy series. Only one episode around 30 minutes, yet not binge worthy! I saw it took 3-4 days. I have seen other things in between. not a feel good series, much more melancholic. The first six episodes are directed by Brian Larson’s Room movie producer Lenny Abraham.
At the end of the season around 8 hours it seemed like it could do something like Before Sunrise. No second volume of the original novel has been released, but it will be interesting to see what happens to Connell-Marian a few years later, like Before the Sunrise. The age of the two actors and actresses will also increase. Then there will be a lot of new additions in addition to the feelings about the two of them talking about their conversation, which was my favorite thing in Before Trilogy!

The novel, which was released in 2016, is getting recognition in the list of various best books. The series is 7.8 / 10 in IMDB !! Rotten Tomatoes is almost 90% positive – critically acclaimed viewers are all highly appreciative of the two’s performance, writing and beautiful presentation of intimate scenes!
