There is no shortage of artificial revolutionists on social platforms! But how many people have the courage to voice voice on the front line of Real Protest to claim their rights in a logical way !!!
Is it really possible to find the mentality to fight till death against any serious injustice without any interest !!! Yes, of course possible! It is for these exceptional people that directors are able to make movies like Dark Waters! Through which we can know and be inspired about the real events and the real heroes of the real events!
Not too long ago, the world’s lungs caught fire in the Amazon jungle and we all became one environmental expert on Facebook !! But there is no news about the condition of the environment around you! A study on dengue mosquitoes in Dhaka in 2011 had a comment “Dhaka City Is sitting on Dengue Time Bomb” We saw the impact of this time bomb with our own eyes in 2019! Moral of the story is that we humans are solely responsible for the current polluted environment !!
A corporate defense attorney named Rav Willett !! Originally working for a chemical company, Rav Wilt. Suddenly one day a farmer named Wilbur Tenant comes to see him and gives him some videotapes and wants to hire him as his lawyer! Wilbur says he came to her in reference to his grandmother. Wilbur wants to sue a chemical company! Which is not possible for Rav! Out of curiosity about the farmer, Rav goes to see his grandmother in West Virginia and from there to meet Wilbur. Wilbur then shows him the condition of his dead cattle’s lungs and teeth and says that all of this is due to poisonous chemicals! The land associated with Wilbur’s land belongs to the well-known giant chemical company “DuPont” where poisonous chemicals are also dumped with the company’s traces! Due to which 190 cows of Wilbur died !!! For this reason, no lawyer agrees to sue Wilbur Dupont! Eventually Rav Willett goes against his law firm and agrees to sue Doppants! While researching Dupont’s, a terrible hidden truth was revealed in front of Rav Willett! This chemical company has been harming the environment as well as humans for many years! The Poisonous Chemical West-Virginia Public Water Supply System, named C-7, has been in the mix for many years! The water that people drink has caused cancer, kidney problems, and even Born Defect! What a terrible thing! After filing the case, the case goes to the mediation stage! The decision in the mediation will be given according to the report of the panel of three scientists! If C-6 is found in the Human Blood Test, then Dupont’s company will bear the cost of compensation + medical monitoring! About 69,000 people have blood tests! It takes 4 years to get the result! Finally the result is in favor of Rav Willett! But Dupont’s company is reluctant to accept this decision! After this news came in the media, 3535 cases were filed against Dupont Company !!! Handle the push this time! Rav Willett was able to claim 1.6 million in the first case, 5.6 million in the second case, and 12.7 million in the third case! There are 3532 more cases running! The Dupont Company later settled all the lawsuits with ৬ৠ60.6 million in damages!
Cinematography is great! The screenplay, story narration and presentation were very good! The performances of Mark Ruffalo and Anne Hathaway were as good as ever. The movie is based on the New York Times Magazine article “The Lawyer Who Became DuPont’s Worst Nightmare” by Nathaniel Rich.
