“Parents Are Overrated” – The quote is weird but it seems logical after watching the movie!
Maya and Dini are very close friends. Both of them are working as part time toll collectors! Besides, they have a clothing business which is not going very well! Dini thought it was necessary to start a new business. One day a car driver asks Maya while working what her name is Rahayu! What is the name of his village Harjossari! Without asking these words, Maya starts attacking in a very violent way! Maya survived when the police came! Who is the driver? Why did you want to kill Maya? After going home, Maya sees the name Rahayu on the opposite side of an old photo of her parents! Maya decided that she would go to her village and if she inherited any property, she would sell it and start a new business with her two girlfriends. See the rest for yourself.

I like the cinematography of the movie very much! No matter how much I appreciate the plot will be less! Great plot! With excellent presentation and background music! The work of the camera was also quite impressive! The director has narrated the story of the movie very nicely! The screenplay was also quite good! Loved the color grading with Dark Ambient! As the movie is a combination of Korean production and Indonesian production, you will find the atmosphere of “The Wailing” movie! Which again was pretty fitting for this movie! Perfect casting and acting from the main character to the side character was pretty good! The director has skillfully built up the characters which you can understand by watching the movie. The movie has a mind boggling twist and turn like a face ha! Which will surprise every audience! The movie has light adult scenes and shocking violence! Be careful! This director’s “Satan’s Slaves” is already listed!
Horror movies with such a great plot are rare! So from this point of view, “Impetigore” is not a movie to miss at all!
Happy watching.
