This year is cut by watching the series. Although I watch more movies. However, compared to other years, I have seen a lot of series this time. In the last few days of which I saw ‘Castle Rock‘. The only reason to see Stephen King. It is based on his novel.

The original plot is arranged around the town center of Castle Rock. The story of King’s different universe has come together here. It started with the warden of Shawsank prison. Someone who said, there is no crow one day committed suicide in the lake. Later, when the new warden came, a mystery was revealed. A man was found in a cage type jail in an abandoned place of the jail. No one knows how he got there, nor is he on the list. Not even saying his name. There was only one name, Henry Deaver. This Henry is no less mysterious boy. The fair story in his name has been heard all over the city. From then on the story continues. Interestingly, the Shawsank prison shown here is the same prison we found out in the movie ‘Shawsank Redemption‘. You will even see pictures of that warden in the movie.
This was the essence of season 1. However, the setting of Season 2 is different, but the place is Castle Rock. Rather the two seasons story is different, but woven into one thread. In Season 2, we see a mother-daughter pair who never stay in the same place. Changing places every month is part of their lives. Mother Annie, always works in one or another hospital and steals special medicine from there for herself. Moreover, they do not use up to two mobile phones and do not interact with any people. You can say, both of them have spent their entire lives in quarantine type life. Basically, Annie is trying to protect her daughter from something. Moreover, the matter may be a hard truth. But, after coming to Castle Rock, mother and daughter get stuck and one incident after another happens.
Season 1 or season 2?
If we compare the two seasons of this psycho-horror series, I will put season 2 ahead. As many know, Stephen King always had trouble with the ending. I mean, I don’t know why the climax doesn’t fit everything. As Episode 6,7,9 of Season 1 went, there was little hope for the season finale. But, the mind did not end as usual. So I was watching the final of season 2 without any hope. However, I really ate the twist from the last twist. The main story ends in 20-25 minutes in the final of that season around 48 minutes. That’s why I was wondering what the last 20 minutes will show. But what he showed, especially the last scene, turned the whole head. However, it should not be thought that if there is an anthropology series, I will watch the 2nd season straight away. Then make the mistake, because as I said before, even though it is a different story, two seasons are tied in one thread. If any of you have seen, please comment in the comments, what was good and bad. Also those who want to see, they can see.
