**** Spoiler Alert ****

The judge will now read a statement. Whose statement? What statement? Let’s see. 11-year-old Julien mentions in a statement against her father – she doesn’t like that man! That man can’t be his father! Her sister will be 18 years old in a few days so her sister is not forced to meet that man! Even though he is a good student, his mother does not help him with his homework! She’s worried about her mom! Because that man hit his mother! Now the question is whether these words are really true or false? On the one hand Julien’s father is demanding Joint Custody and on the other hand Julien’s mother is demanding Julien’s Full Custody! But why this Custody? Why is his child calling his father “that man”? And what is the validity of Julien’s statement? You have to watch the movie to know the answers to all these questions.
The screenplay of the movie is great! And the plot was quite unique and Thought Provoking! The cinematography, presentation and atmosphere feel pretty good! The director has built up the character quite efficiently. Which is why from the beginning to the end of the movie who is telling the truth and who is lying will be in this dilemma! Excessive love is a form of oppression – this is pretty well presented! As well as the fact that domestic violence and quarrels have a negative impact on younger members of the family is very nicely shown! The casting of the movie was perfect and the acting of the main characters was great! Especially Julien’s character was Mind Buggling! This little boy has given a memorable performance! I am fascinated by the boy’s performance! In a word, “Custody” is a must watch movie!
The movie won the Silver Lion Award at the 74th Venice International Film Festival! The movie also won the Best Film, Best Actress and Best Original Screenplay categories at the 44th Cesar Awards!
I will end the review with a quote from Publilias Syrus – A Woman Either Loves or Hates, She Knows No Medium.
